Norwood to play in Senior Bowl

Biloxi Sun HeraldJerious Norwood, the career rushing leader at Mississippi State, will compete in the 2006 Senior Bowl next month.
Norwood gained a total of 3,222 yards. He rushed for 1,136 yards in 2005 and won the Conerly Trophy.
The Jackson native became just the second back in MSU history to gain more than 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons. Norwood’s 13 career games with more than 100 yards rushing are also a school record.
