Don’t You Love It!

Don’t worry MSU fans, don’t be “embrassed”, we are on the brink of executing every play to perfection. A few examples:
- 3 & 10, lets run a five yard out and get out of bounds.
- Take the ball into our own territory on FOUR great kick returns, score one touchdown.
- Fake punt, need ten yards, fool the defense, run an EIGHT yard route.
Jack had some great lines last night:
- After netting 17 yards during the first quarter & a half, “well the natives are getting a little restless”, classic Jack, the boos had to be pretty loud down on the field. Hard to believe such a small group of fans can be so loud, LOL, this is for the guys on genespage that say everyone has been so positive in the sections they sit in.
- After Tulane went up 32-7, “well with the game clearly in hand, the Green Wave can use this as an extra practice”
I really don’t know what else to say. I tried thinking back to the hiring of the Slytanic and had the following memories:
- I was excited. He seemed to be a great speaker and motivator.
- He had worked with some great pros.
- He played for the Bear.
- He should be a great recruiter.
What I should have thought:
- He has no head coaching experience, none. NO RECORD, W-L’s, RECRUITING, Nothing.
- He was OC at Detroit, with great players, that he nothing to do with recruiting.
- Why did Alabama not hire him?
- Why wasn’t he still an OC in the NFL?
I would love for him to suceed at MSU, but it doesn’t appear that it is going to happen. He had the potential to really do something here, but for some reason it hasn’t happened. Maybe it is the coaches he has surrounded himself with, maybe its his stubborn nature. But I am afraid that if he doesn’t make some changes soon, real soon, we may be in for a longer road to rebuilding than anyone could have imagined.
